Lazy Afternoon at the Beach

This afternoon I went to the beach with my friends, Sadie and Finley. Sadie and I had fun playing with the sand toys and splashing in the water.
I made some sand donuts with Sadie.
Finley got in on the water action and dipped her tiny toes.

Finley had some fun baby sunglasses.

Thanks for inviting me to your beach, Sadie! My Mommy and I had fun!

Rainy Days

On rainy days we do art projects,

practice making shapes and writing my name with paint bags, and
 race marbles!

Today's Paper!

This appeared in Sunday's paper!

Visitors

This weekend Gramma, Grampa and Josh came to visit! Uncle Josh stayed at our house so I got to play with him a lot. He helped me put together my number puzzle.
Saturday afternoon we went to get food from Tenuta's. There was a case of cookies in front of my face...Gramma let me get some! I picked out the cookie with the cherry in the middle. After lunch Gramma and I opened the container of cookies.
 YUM!!!
I had to show Josh how to use my Elmo toy.

Daddy's Little Helper

I love grabbing my stool to help Mommy and Daddy with anything around the house! I helped Daddy wash the dishes.

Mommy's Cleaning Out

I love when Mommy cleans out her closet at school. It usually means she finds things that she bought two of and I get to have one! She brought me home  ABC and number floor puzzle this time!

Frog Zoo Class

We've been without internet for a few days, so here are some pictures from Ava's zoo class Monday morning. The theme was frogs and it was our last summer class. We are signed up for a fall class though. The classes are too great to stop when summer is over! She got to paint a large frog with foam paint and a sponge tool.
We made a frog puppet and caught flies that were hanging from the ceiling.
 She matched frogs by color.
The water table filled with water, rocks, lily pads and toy tadpoles and frogs was her absolute favorite! I had to remind her there were other things to do! We also made a frog costume and hopped around on the lily pads and "pond." They also had a tank of tadpoles for us to watch while we painted a tadpole picture. Ava ate "bugs" for a snack and got to see a frog that was brought in for class.
I was able to get into a morning class this time so when we were done we walked around the zoo for a little bit and then had a picnic lunch. We visited some animals we usually don't visit. We saw some turtles.

Ava watched the mountain goats for a bit and then requested to go look at some "real animals!"
We also saw the moose resting in the shade.
Here's my little frog modeling her frog costume.
