My How Fast Time Goes!

At this time last year, Chris and I were making a mad dash to have our things together and make it to the hospital by 6:00AM.
Ava came into the world at 1:18PM!
We were finally a family of three.
Our "baby" is already a year old and has changed so much!
Happy 1st Birthday, Ava!

Gobble Gobble

I'm ready for Thanksgiving with my latest shirt from Nonna and Mommy. GOBBLE GOBBLE!

Early Training

I helped Daddy wash my bottles the other night. He said I'm almost 1 and it's time I earn my keep! I think Daddy was just teasing me! I LOVED splashing in the dishwater.

Uncle Josh

Yesterday morning Uncle Josh came to visit. He had a wedding in Racine, so he came to see me.
I gave him the stink eye. I was checking out his black eye and facial hair. Thanks for visiting, Uncle Josh!

Happy 80th Birthday, Grammpy!

Last night we had a surprise 80th birthday party for Grammpy. Before he got there Brooklyn and I were having some serious little girl talk. Brooklyn and I are 4 months apart. I haven't seen her since Christmas.
We gave each other hugs.
We were talking about our favorite toys!
Nonna and Mommy's Uncle Mike with their granddaughters. There were lots of babies around! There were 7 of us under 5 which is a lot at once for our family. Usually we aren't all together at once because we live far away from each other.
SURPRISE!!! Brooklyn greeted Grampy first and gave him a hug.

I was hanging out with Great Aunt Anita. She loves having all the little kids around again!I got some kisses from Braelyn. Her and Brooklyn are sisters.
Grampy showing us he's 80 years old. Can you tell he's been a farmer for years and has had some farming accidents? Mommy says she likes this picture because she thinks his hands show how hard he works.
Make a wish!!
Grammpy has a MAJOR sweet tooth, so it was no surprise that he licked the frosting off the tractor tires! Braelyn was right there to help him.
Grammpy was sharing his ice cream with me. That's BIG...he LOVES his ice cream!

Trick-or-Treat

Before we went trick-or-treating last week, we took some pictures in the backyard. Can you tell I was excited to go?

I was peering through the cracks in the fence to see what was in Ray and Shirley's backyard.
Our first stop was Auntie's house. She gave me some puffs! I watched some of the kids come to her door. I liked watching from the front door window to see what all the kids were dressed as.

Then we went to Nonna and Papa's. I got a new outfit and book there.

I needed to rest for awhile in my rocking chair before we went to Grammy and Grampy Zarletti's house. I got to see cousin Evie there. She's Papa's cousin and is a big kid herself!

My New Trick...

Tonight I stood up in my crib for the first time! I didn't want to go to bed and kept crying, which is not normal for me. Getting 5 teeth in a week and a half makes me a little cranky at night.
