Surprise

Today when Mommy and I got home there was a bag hanging on the back door. We brought it inside and found Easter treats from Ray and Shirley!

I got some chocolate covered marshmallows...

 and a fun Easter book!



Hanging With My Friends

This morning Miss Zivka gave Mommy and me all of the pictures of me and my friends that were on the wall. She took new pictures and needed to make room for them.

YEAH!!!!

I never thought I'd be the Mommy to blog about this,but Chris and I were so excited I couldn't help myself! The last couple weeks Ava has been saying, "poop" after she goes to the bathroom. Today we were in the kitchen getting lunch ready and she made her announcement. Thinking she needed to be changed, we headed to her bedroom. Her diaper was clean so we thought, what the heck let's sit her on the toilet. A few minutes later, she'd done her business in the toilet! We got very excited so she started squealing too! What a great 17 month b-day present for her Mommy and Daddy! We'll have to let Miss Zivka know that when she makes her announcement she may really be onto something!

Tub Letters

After we played outside and ate dinner I got to open my box of tub letters. I've never played with them before! They were pretty cool! I love sticking them to the wall and inside of the tub.

Sidewalk Chalk

Tonight Daddy went fishing so Mommy and I took advantage of the nice night and played outside. I colored on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk!

Happy Birthday, Grammy!

Grammy Zarletti's 80th birthday was on Friday. Today we went and celebrated her birthday. I loved playing in Grammy and Grampy's HUGE backyard!

 Then Mommy got out the lens she got for Christmas. It was the first chance she got to play with it outside! I got to be her subject!

 I even sat with Grampy for a little while today. Usually when he talks to me I cry!



Mangia, Mangia!!

This afternoon we went to the Italian American for lunch. Papa was there very early this morning cooking for the fundraiser for the Tremper, Bradford and St. Joe's Italian classes. Papa brought me some special noodles out of the kitchen. I also got to go in the kitchen and see how all the food was made.

 It wasn't a suprise to any of us that I LOVED the genettis (it's an Italian cookie.)
