A Special Box

Friday when we got home there was a box for our family on the porch. Uncle Josh sent me a Little Mermaid toy.

Gramma and Grampa sent me a summer outfit and scarf that Gramma made. Thanks for the surprises!

I Can Ride My Bike Again!!!

Last night the neurology nurse called to tell me all of Ava's EEG results came back NORMAL!! She said, "she can resume any and all activities she wishes!" Those were the best words. This means Ava can ride a bike, climb, go to the park, go back to gymnastics, go in bouncy houses, swing, and be a normal kid again! This is something we have been missing since the beginning of December. Since the call didn't come until a little after 6:00 last night we couldn't do any activities to celebrate. I told my mom I was going to take Ava outside and make her ride her bike while I shined a flashlight in her path just because she could do it again! Tonight it was nice so we celebrated "normal life" with a bike ride. Many of the outside toys are up in the garage and this was the only bike down. Ava didn't complain though, she hopped right on and peddled away with a giant grin on her face. We should be able to get back to swimming lessons, gymnastics and will try a dance class in May at the Y. We will celebrate more on Saturday with a trip to Monkey Joe's.

Completed Snow Day

Our snow day was complete after Daddy came home and we played outside. There was so much snow to play in!!
I colored the snow green with my squirt bottle.

I went sledding in my own front yard!

We had a fabulous extra stay home day! I loved doing all the fun things with Mommy and Daddy.

SNOW DAY!!!!!!

Last night there was talk of a lot of snow which might give us a snow day. We learned of some rituals to try out to help us get a snow day. I wore my pj's inside out and put a white crayon in the freezer. My magic worked...at 6:00 this morning Mommy's cell phone rang to say it was a SNOW DAY!! We have not had one of these in 2 years so Mommy and her teacher friends were very excited! Unfortunately, the late call meant Mommy was completely ready to go to school and she had already woken me up. We used our early start to our advantage. We headed to Walgreens and Target before the snow started to pick up a few things to make for a fun snow day!
I changed my baby's diapers and took care of them with all the new things in my baby brother or sister's bedroom.
 We made pink lemonade cupcakes!

 Ready for the oven!
I got to try out a new Aqua Doodle pad. It was pretty cool!

Then I made little volcanoes in a pan of baking soda. Thanks to KK for helping us with the eye dropper this morning! Sometimes her pharmacist skills help us out. This kept me entertained almost an hour! Mommy and I had a super fun morning on our extra stay home day.

Sunday Fun Day

Sunday we stayed in jammies or comfy clothes all day and worked and had fun. Mommy and Daddy did a lot of work around the house getting my brother or sister's bedroom ready and getting things ready to re-list our house. Mommy and I took a break to play with my magic noodles.

I made a flower for Nonna and Papa and one for Daddy to take to work.

Birthday at Miss Zivka's

These pictures are a little old, but Miss Zivka just got them developed and gave them to me! Mommy thought this was so sweet. She had no idea Miss Zivka had a cake with candles at daycare for me on my birthday! Good thing I brought the ice cream cups to go with the cake.

A Baby Sweater

This afternoon P2Z2 got his/her first hand knit sweater from my cousin, Jeri, that lives in Wyoming. I was so thrilled to open it! When Ava was born she made her a beautiful quilt that is still well used! I LOVE her handmade gifts. They are always things I wish I could do myself. I think this sweater will be perfect for our fall market, pumpkin farm and apple orchard visits. Thank you so much, Jeri! I love it and so with Baby!!
