Almost Finished

Daddy is almost finished building my toy box. He has to finish staining some pieces for the lid and then attach the lid.

Outside Fun

After we got back from the race we all rested in Mommy and Daddy's bed and watched some football. After that we went outside and played.Mommy took some pictures of me on our tree stump.

Hmmm...I haven't pulled on this stuff in awhile!

This toy makes me giggle. I like to dance to the music it plays too.

Race for the Cure

This morning we went to Milwaukee for the Race for the Cure 5K run. I got to debut my new winter coat so I stayed nice and toasty for the run. Mommy and Daddy weren't so warm before the race started though.

This was after the race. We all did really well! There were lots of people there, so the first mile was quite congested and we weren't able to run as fast as we would have liked. I think Daddy deserves his bus driver license after maneuvering my jogging stroller through the crowds during the run.

10 Months

On Friday I turned 10 months old! I'm no longer a single digit girl! (Don't remind Mommy though, it makes her sad.) I was quite silly and "active" when Mommy was trying to take my pictures. These pictures were the best she could get with me worming around and being a clown!

Daddy was being silly with me after Mommy and him gave up on a nice picture. He was holding me upside down! After my pictures we went to the Columbia Outlet to buy me a winter coat and snow pants. I got a snuggly pink coat and snow pants. Now Mommy and Daddy are going to be on the lookout for boots. I'm ready to use the red sled Mommy bought me last year.

Laundry Is Fun!!

I like to ride into the basement in the hampers to help Mommy with the laundry.

Mommy Made Me a Hat!

Mommy started making me a hat for this winter while she was on maternity leave. She finally dug it back out and tried it on my head to make sure it was going to fit. Last night when I went to bed there were still "sticks" in my hat.

This morning when I woke up, the "sticks" were gone! Mommy finished my hat last night!

Bumming...

This is how I spent most of last night...cuddling and chewing! I didn't sleep well on Sunday night and I didn't finish my bottle at Nonna's house of Monday afternoon. Nonna said I wasn't quite myself and she felt a new tooth popping though! I now am the proud owner of three teeth! They are all on the bottom.

Apple Shirt

Last night Mommy and I went to Nonna and Papa's after she picked me up from Ruth's house. Daddy was in Green Bay at a conference, so Mommy and Nonna made me this apple shirt. They are going to work on some more tonight!

Toy Box

Daddy started to build me my very own toybox today! I can't wait to watch Mommy and Daddy fill it up with my toys.

Bubble Bath

I haven't been feeling good for the last couple of days. At first Mommy and Daddy thought I might be cutting more teeth. Now they think it was allergies and that I have a yucky cold. I sound pretty congested so Mommy gave me a special bubble bath so I could breath a little easier. The bubbles were pretty cool to play with!

Pizza on the Grill Night

Last night we went to Nonna and Papa's house for a pizza on the grill party. I jumped in my Jumperoo and laughed and giggled.

I got my shoes dirty while I was jumping! Mommy said it looked like I was wearing highwaters.

The big people drank wine and made their pizza while I jumped. I didn't get any wine or pizza, but I did get to try some fresh mozarella! It was tasty.

Papa brushed all of the pizza crusts with his special oil mixture before he put them on the grill.

Auntie was the first one to make her pizza.

Fun at Pets

Yesterday was a fun day for us! In the morning Daddy helped Papa build a new ramp at Grammy and Grampy Zarletti's house. While he was doing that, Auntie, Kurt, Mommy and I went to the market and then for lunch at Common Grounds. Mommy said it felt like a BEAUTIFUL fall day! I wore my new jeans and sweater. After the morning festivites and my nap, Mommy and Daddy took me to Barnes and Noble to get some new books. I got books about fall and Halloween! On our way home we dediced to take a detour and went and played at the Pets. I rode on the horse with a little help from Mommy.

I got to swing like a big girl! Can you tell I liked it?

Mangia Mangia!

Tonight I got to try my first Italian food! I ate gnocchi and it was very yummy!

BOOOO!!!

Mommy had to go back to work today. Mommy was brave and didn't have too many tears. When she dropped me off there were two new kids starting daycare at Ruth's. The little girl was about two and was crying a lot. I looked at her wondering what the problem was. I went right to Katie and was happy as can be. Mommy says that makes it a little easier to leave me. Mommy raced to Ruth's after she was done with school. I think she missed me a lot today! When we got home I looked at Mommy and Daddy and said, "Daaa Daa Daa!" That was the first time I let them hear it!
