Announcement

My friend, Nikki, took some pictures of the 3 of us to make a special announcement. The due date of Baby Passe #2 (P2Z2), as my sister has named the baby, is scheduled to arrive on May 9th. My doctor has already confirmed we will have a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks. We are thinking the baby will be born on May 3rd. 

Finley's 3 Month Photos

Saturday morning I went to take some pictures of Miss Finley. She's already 3 months old. Finley's Mommy, M.J., is my kindergarten teaching partner. Click here to see more of Finley's photos. 

Fall Zoo Class

Last week on Saturday we headed to the Milwaukee Zoo for Ava's first fall zoo class. Since we did a Saturday class, Chris brought her to class while I waited. The theme was trains. Ava made a train costume, stamped shapes with colored shaving cream, painted a big train, strung paper shapes and animals to make a train and made a train whistle. The class ended with a ride on the zoo train. I was able to buy a ticket and join in on the train ride. Ava was definitely more into the train ride this year than she was last year. 

Fun at Pets

Yesterday was a beautiful day! Since the road into the part of Pets with new playground equipment was reopened we decided to head to the park. Ava liked trying the new rock climbing wall.

 The swings are always a hit!

 We also explored some of the trails. Ava liked being up higher so she could touch the trees. 

Work at the Lot

We spent part of Saturday morning working at the lot. Chris cut down the disgusting cottonwood saplings that were on our property. Those trees only cause itchy eyes, stuffy noses and lots of sneezing, so they had to go! 

 Ava was a good helper and helped me drag them to the front of the property line so we can haul them away. We met a new neighbor. He lives in the house in the background. He was very nice and welcomed us to the neighborhood. We also spoke with another neighbor we'd met while looking at the lot. 

 Ava LOVED picking all the "flowers" that were on the lot. 

Special Breakfast

This morning Daddy and I went to the bakery to bring home a special breakfast. I picked out some juice and doughnuts for everyone. Most of the frosting ended up on my face, but I did manage to eat some of the doughnut too. 

 I had to make sure I consumed every last drop of frosting!

The Back to School Fairy

 Tuesday was Mommy's first day back to school with her students. The Back to School Fairy stopped at our house to bring me a little back to school surprise. She left me a note and brought me some Halloween undies, colored pencils and a Cinderella notebook. I drew pictures in my notebook right away!
