A Day at the Fair

Daddy took the day off of work on Friday, so we went to the fair. The first animals I saw were the bunnies. I watched them for quite awhile.
Then we went to look at the ducks and chickens. While I was watching a duck drink its water, this nice boy came over and asked if we'd like to pet a duck and chicken. He took us to the cage his duck was in and let me pet his duck!

Then this girl let me pet her chicken.

We looked in the horse barn. This miniature horse was sniffing my legs and trying to lick me! I thought it was silly and laughed a lot.

We ran into the Addy and Jayda and their cousin, Breeya. Guess where our Mommies saw each other...looking at the photography entries. (Are you surprised?)

Sprinkler Park

This afternoon after my nap Nonna, Mommy and I went to play at the sprinkler park by Lake Michigan. It was the first time I've been to the sprinklers when the water was on and I loved it! I kept running up the steps to tell Nonna I got wet.

After I was done in the water, we walked down the path and had some icecream.

Playdate

On Friday when the storms let up, Mommy and I went to her friend, Nikki's house so I could play with Addy and Jayda. Mommy forgot her camera, but never fear, Nikki captured everything. If you'd like to see pictures of us having fun and me holding Jayda, click on the link to Addyson Marie's page on the right side.

Mueller Picnic

Today was the Mueller picnic. This is a picnic for Gramma Uhlenhake and here sisters' families. I blew bubbles with Mommy's cousin, Kaleb's girls.

I tried really hard and then...

...I got bubbles to come out!
This is Grammy Uhlenhake (second from the left) with her sisters. There weren't any boys in her family and the girls did some weird things to the "hired men" when they lived on the farm as kids! Grammy told Mommy that there used to be notes in their family's file so when the hired men were hired they knew about all the girls!

I got to play at the park while we were at the picnic.

There was a pinata there. Here's Brelyn taking a few swings at it.

Then Brookie had a turn. Brookie is 4 months older than me.

Then I got a turn!
After the pinata broke open, Daddy helped me find some candy.

Here's Grammy and Grampy Uhlenhake.

After the pinata, a guy came to make balloon animals for us. Mommy's Aunt Anita held me while we watched him make a goofy hat for Grammy.

Grammy and all of here sisters got these goofy hats!
We waited while my balloon monkey was made.

I was thrilled to get my balloon monkey!

See my monkey?
Here's my Grampy hanging out watching all of us have fun!

Nadia

Saturday afternoon we went to Racine so we could see Nadia, Kerry and Scott. We ate at a restaurant that was right on the lake. We got to listen to a band play before we ate. Nadia and I checked out the awesome boats.
After dinner, we went swimming at Nadia's hotel.

I had fun swimming with Nadia!

Lauren and Parker

Saturday afternoon, my cousins, Lauren and Parker, stopped at our house for a short visit. We were able to get a few cousin pictures while they were here.

I was more interested in getting into Mommy's flowers here than taking a picture.

Lauren is the oldest cousin on the Passe side and I'm the youngest. I won't be the youngest for long though because I'm going to have a little boy cousin in early November!

Even though this picture is a little blurry, Mommy loves our expressions.

Go Bikes!!

Friday night, Mommy, Daddy and I went down to Food, Folks, and Spokes. It's a circuit of bike races that is held and one stop is Kenosha. I absolutely loved the races! Every time the pace car went past I said, "Here they come, they're coming!" Then when I saw the bikes I got so excited! I screamed and clapped and yelled, "Go bikes! Yeah, bikes!"
The still photos don't really show how truly excited I was! My stroller was rocking back and forth because I was moving around so much with all of my excitement!

Yeah!!!

Go bikes!!

Mommy likes this one because it shows how fast the bikes were going.
The next few pictures are just some that Mommy took while we were waiting for the race to start. She thought the steeple of the church looked so pretty against the bright blue sky.

Chef Ava

Today we cooked at Miss Zivka's house! We made this delicious banana bread with chocolate chips in it. When Mommy came to pick me up, Miss Zivka cut some bread for me to take home to share with Mommy and Daddy. I had fun baking with Miss Zivka. I am going to miss her. She's going to Serbia for 2 weeks to see her family. I hope she has fun, but I will miss her and my friends!

Can you tell I loved the banana bread I made too?
