Deck the Halls...

I was SOOOO excited to put up the Christmas tree today!
I liked touching the prickly branches.
I put my little hand on the branch and found a light!
Hey Dada, what do we need to do under here?

Mommy and I put the first ornament on the tree together again this year. Mommy said it was quite a change from last year! She said I fit right in her forearm when we put the ornament on. This year I wanted to touch and inspect the ornament. The ornament we put on was a mommy snowwoman holding a child snowman so he could put the ornament on the tree. Mommy thought it was appropriate for us to put up together.

Mommy and I wore our special Christmas shirts to decorate the tree today. I hope Santa will like my Christmas tree when he comes down my chimney this year!

Vino!

Just in case you didn't already know, Mommy and Daddy love to drink wine. Since the Wollersheim Winery was so close to the Dells, of course we needed to make a pit stop to get wine!

WATERPARK FUN!!!

I woke Mommy and Daddy up early on Friday because I wanted to go to the waterpark!
Come on!! Let's go already!
I was all smiles when I got into the water. I LOVED splashing and being able to crawl around in the water all by myself.
Daddy helped me go down this slide a lot of times. I thought it was so fun!
I loved just sitting and splashing.

Nadia LOVED the water!

Nadia and I had fun splashing in the water together.

Parker was trying to stay under the water so he'd be warmer!

Warming up with Lauren.

The Wilderness

On Thanksgiving afternoon, Mommy and Daddy loaded me and our stuff up and we left for Wisconsin Dells. We stayed at the Wilderness with Gramma and Grampa, Josh, Luke, Kerry, Scott, Nadia, Chel, Brandon, Lauren and Parker.
Gramma got Nadia and I matching Christmas dresses. Mommy thought this picture looks like something really captured my eye.

Life Lessons From...

...UNCLE JOSH!!
Uncle Josh was a proud Godfather when he got to see me attempt to drink my first beer!

My First Birthday Party

Last week on Saturday Mommy and Daddy had a birthday party for me at Auntie's house. Mommy put all of the pictures she's taken of me each month on cupcakes so everyone could see how much I grew.

Gramma and Grampa Passe, Nonna and Papa, Grammy and Grampy Zarlett and Auntie were at my party.
Gramma helped me model my whole outfit. Nonna made it for me.
I was excited to open my presents.
The paper was quite tasty!
I loved checking out my Pillow Pet!

Mommy said she'd show me what to do with this!
I smushed right into my cupcake!
Yes? I'm busy eating my cupcake!

CAKE!!!!

After I played on my slide Mommy and Daddy put this WHOLE cake in front of me! I couldn't believe it, I got to TOUCH the cake!
Is it really OK that I play in the cake?
I decided I needed to get to business with my cake. I did it the easy way! I picked up the cake by the cardboard platter and ate it!

Cake is great! Mommy was surprised I didn't make a huge mess. I was encouraged to put the cake in my hair when I was asked how big I was. I still only got a little cake in my hair. I had a GREAT first birthday!

Happy Birthday!

This morning when I woke up my door was decorated special for my birthday.
I wore my special birthday shirt to Ruth's house today.
When I got home there was something huge with a bow on it in my room.
I was really excited to use my new...
SLIDE!!!
I LOVED zooming down my new slide. I discovered I can go down the slide faster in just my diaper! Birthdays are fun!
