Jack-o-lanerns

This morning we carved our pumpkins. It took awhile before I'd dig into the pumpkin guts. I wasn't as sure about it this year like I was last year.

Eventually I dug in and helped Mommy clean out my pumpkin.

Mommy gave me some choices and I picked out all the features of my pumpkin by myself.

Mommy carved the face for me.

Tonight we put candles in our pumpkins so we could see them glow.

Where's Ava?

Ava has some many animals she needs to snuggle with sometimes it's hard to tell where she is laying in the bed. Can you find her amongst Brownie, Abby and Quack?

Dressing Up with Oliver

Yesterday I went to KK's house and Oliver and I dressed up. I'm a ladybug and Oliver is a cow. He really liked my antenna.

Land of the Giants

Saturday we headed to the pumpkin farm with Nonna, Papa and KK. The pumpkin hat Nonna made me last year still fits!

Feeding the goats at Land of the Giants was so fun! They got to eat out of my hand. This goat made me giggle when he put his head through the fence. I wasn't expecting it!

Look at the HUGE pumpkin behind me! At first we didn't think it was real.

This man was carving a pumpkin the size of the one above. It was really cool!

Hmmm...I think I will climb up the climbing wall in this house.

I climbed up the hay bales.

When we were all done walking around the pumpkin farm we went inside the barn for a treat. I only wanted to lick the frosting on my cookie at first.

Tremper Homecoming Parade

Friday night we went and watched the Tremper Homecoming parade.

I got really excited when I saw the police car coming. I clapped and yelled, "Yeah police car!"

The big kids threw lots of candy at me! Mommy's purse weighed about 5 extra pounds when we were all done. It took me a little while to understand that I could pick the candy up and keep it. One piece of candy pelted me in the head pretty good. One of the high school girls realized it happened and ran up to me with more candy. She prevented me from crying!

Mommy caught me being silly on video. I was "eating" my cupcakes!



Yard Work

Sunday after the zoo and my nap I raked up some leaves. Yes, I was wearing capris and a t-shirt because it was so warm!

I stopped to throw some leaves up in the air.

A Zoo Day!

Sunday was beautiful so we made it a zoo day! We got there right away when the zoo opened so we got to see some really active animals.

This was the first time we got to really see the hippos. Usually we could only see their nostrils and eyes peeking out of the water.

This bear was hanging out in the water and resting his head on the side. He was pretty silly!

The lion cubs are on display now for a few hours each day. We were able to get right up by the glass to seem them play with each other and their Mommy.

I sat on this HUGE cow in the farm at the zoo.

Happy Birthday, Papa!

Yesterday was Papa's birthday. We went to Nonna and Papa's house for dinner and Papa's cake and icecream.

I helped Papa blow out his candles. Happy birthday, Papa!

Nonna's Flowers

Mommy took some pictures of me in Nonna and Papa's flowers and bottle garden.

KK was being silly and making me laugh a lot!

Pumpkin Time

Today Mommy, Daddy and I went to Miss Helen's house to buy pumpkins. Miss Helen used to teach at Mommy's school. She retired a couple years ago and now she has more time to run her pumpkin and produce stand. Do you see a problem with these pictures though? I'm wearing a tank top on October 8th while picking out pumpkins! Mommy couldn't even have me wear any of my cute Halloween shirts. Oh well, the 80 degree weather was beautiful and Mommy didn't mind taking summer clothes back out of the bin for me.

I liked all the bumps on this pumpkin.

I picked out one of Miss Helen's little "Rockerfeller" pumpkins. They were just my size!
