Christmas Memories

Mommy and Ava hanging the first ornament...2009
 2010
 2011
Last year Ava helped Daddy under the Christmas tree. She didn't jump on him, but did get right under there with him.
Do you think she has a thing for helping with the tree skirt?

Christmas Tree

After we made ravioli we came home and put our Christmas tree up. I got to hang the first ornament with Mommy again.
After a few ornaments were put on the tree, I just laid on the couch admiring the ornaments and lights.
Daddy and I hung the special pickle ornament together.

When all the ornaments were on the tree, Mommy gave me one more special ornament to put up. I squealed and yelled, "DORA!!!" I quickly hung her up on the tree.
Mommy was laying under the tree tying up the tree skirt. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to jump on her and pretend she's a horse!

Zarletti Family Ravioli Extravaganza

Today was Ravioli Extravaganza Day! KK made some special new drink concoction. Check out her fancy apron...it even has pearls around the neck.
 Papa manned the dough rolling.
Mommy and Daddy filled and forked the ravs.

 I supervised and colored.
Oliver wanted to be on our side of the gate so badly! He hung out like this for awhile then he got his back leg up on the gate and hopped over! When we were finished we had 21 dozen ravioli for our Christmas dinner.

Sesame Street Live

On Saturday afternoon Mommy and Daddy took me to the Bradley Center to see Sesame Street Live. I was so mezmorized by this Elmo that I wouln't turn around to look at Mommy.
When Bert and Ernie came out to start the show I was sitting at the edge of my seat with my mouth wide open! I was so excited to see them I could hardly stand it. When all of the characters came out I was shrieking with delight. I would squeal and say the names of my favorite characters as they came out on stage.
Abby and Elmo are my two favorite Sesame Street characters!

Little Baker

Jenn, Dave and Brydon sent me a giftcard for my birthday. When Mommy and KK were Black Friday shopping Mommy found me this really cute cookie set and bought it as my birthday present. I made Mommy cookies for a good half hour. First I put the cookies and toppings on the cookie sheet and put them in the oven.
Then I showed off my baking skills. Notice I even put my oven mitt on without being told.
Then I scooped the cookies off of the baking sheet.
I put them on a plate and...
 ate my creations!

Baby Cruz

You didn't think Cruz was going to get away from my Mommy without a little photo shoot did you?

My New Cousin

On Tuesday, Mommy and Daddy took a half day of work and we headed up to Minnesota to meet my new cousin, Cruz. Cruz was born on 11-11-11! This was the first trip to Minnesota that Mommy and Daddy could say that I traveled well. It made a more enjoyable trip! When we got to the hotel Mommy and Daddy told me I could go swimming before bed. I quickly got ready and hit the pool
The next morning we went to Kerry, Scott, Nadia and Cruz's house. As soon as Mommy held Cruz I said, "I want to hold Cruz!" Mommy helped me and I got to hold him. I gave him lots of kisses on his little head.
Nadia and I played all day but took breaks to admire Cruz!
Nadia loves her little brother and is such a good big sister.

Open Gym at Scamps

Gramma and Grampa Passe came on Friday for my birthday party this weekend. I took them to open gym at Scamps so they could see some of the things I do in my tumbling class. I showed them how I hang on the bar. I can hang for quite awhile and am working on putting my legs up into a pike.
I climbed around in the foam pit.
Daddy helped me climb the rope ladder for the first time. If you look closely you can see the yellow twirly slide you have to go down. It was a bit disasterous! I lost control as soon as I started down the slide and tumbled around inside the tube until I came out in the foam pit. Mommy thought she'd be able to snap a picture of me laughing when I came out of the slide. Instead she had to quickly take her camera off and jump in the foam pit to rescue me. I don't think I'll go down that slide again for awhile.
My favorite thing to show Gramma and Grampa was how I can jump on the trampolines. I love the big and little trampolines. After open gym we all went for dinner at Famous Dave's.

Mama Ava

The other night my baby was hungry. I got a container and spoon from the kitchen to feed my baby.
I told my baby to open her mouth and eat.
