Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning I woke up to see that Santa left a note for me. He also ate some of the cookies I left him, drank all of the milk and took the carrots for his reindeer.

I looked into the cup and said, "MOMMA! He drank it ALL!"
I was excited to get a stool for...

the Lego table Mommy and Daddy made me!
Daddy was pretty excited about this box! Don't worry we didn't really shop at Justice for him.
I opened my Snow White dress and put it on right away. Thank you Santa and Mommy and Daddy for the great gifts and Christmas!

Reindeer Food

On Christmas Eve day we went outside so I could put the reindeer food out for Santa's reindeer. I put some in the front and back yard. I wanted to be sure they would see the sparkles from up in the sky so they'd remember to stop at my house.

One Day Until Christmas...

Today my final special activity was to go to Grammy and Grampy Zarletti's house for the annual Christmas Eve dinner.

This was the table set for 31! I don't know if we could have fit one more if we tried!

These are all my second cousins with Grammy and Grampy. I am the only girl which is opposite of Mommy and her cousins.
 These are my great aunts.
This is Mommy with her cousins. See the lack of male representation?
Mommy's cousin, Sara, got me this awesome ice cream playdough kit. I was very excited about it.

Helping in the Kitchen

We had the homemade ravioli we made a few weeks ago for our Christmas dinner. After dinner I insisted that I help Nonna with the dishes. I always pull the chair up to the sink and climb up to help Nonna. Nonna and Mommy now know that when I request to help all of my clothes must be stripped off or they have to go in the dryer. Mommy thought the socks and sparkly shoes were a nice touch to the diaper look.

After dishes I needed to help Papa make grasshoppers. I had to put my new Dora apron on to help with this.

Before Papa put all the adult liquid into the grasshoppers he scooped some out for me! EMMMM!!

The Pickle

The "adult kids" did the traditional pickle search this year. Josh joined in this year. I think he may have been shocked at how serious we are about this! Chris was squeezing my neck thus the funny face. Mom lead us into the living room and then turned us so we were facing away from the tree. We were let go to search for the pickle. I found it this year. The girls once again dominated! As you can tell, Chris was not excited about that, Kaitlin and I were pumped and Josh wasn't quite sure about the history of these pictures. He'll know for next year!

My Special Present

Nonna and Papa gave me a very special present for Christmas! Papa made me a kitchen. He'd found the plans in his Handy Man magazine a long time ago and he put the plans in action before he had his knee surgery.

I didn't waste any time playing with it.

This is what Papa wrote on the inside of the kitchen for me. What a special present! Thank you Nonna and Papa!

Christmas at Nonna and Papa's House

We had Christmas at Nonna and Papa's house on Friday night because KK had to work on Christmas Day. We had fun opening our gifts! Even Oliver had some goodies to open.

Papa and Daddy both got self inflating life vests for their fishing expeditions.
KK got me my very own digital camera! Watch out Mommy...
Papa helped me get my camera out and all ready to go.
He showed me how to take a picture.
Then I took a picture of Mommy. She had to snap a picture of me taking a picture!
KK was super excited about the slap bracelet watch I gave her.
I think Josh thought she was goofy!
Nonna really liked the ornament Mommy made for her.
Daddy got another toy for his boat...fishing rod holders.
I got Papa a head massager from me. I think I might be trained on how to use it now.

KK was also really excited to get a Rachel Ray garbage bowl.
 Josh got some heated gloves.
Josh won over my heart with this Dora guitar!
Nonna made the girls matching PJ pants.

2 More Days Until Christmas...

KK had the day off of work, so I got to watch movies with Papa this morning while Mommy spent it with KK. When I got to Nonna and Papa's house Papa had all of his Disney movies displayed on the couch for me to choose from. I picked "the bug movie" to watch first (A Bug's Life). Mommy and KK stopped at Starbucks and then went to KK's house to scrapbook for a couple hours. I had a blast with Papa (he loved having me over for a morning with just him too) and KK and Mommy enjoyed being able to spend time together.
