Project Time

Sunday afternoon I did a project. Mommy got me some fun foam ocean animal stickers. I concentrated so hard to peel the paper off of the back of each shape and put it into the "ocean."

When I was finished I admired my art project!

Milwaukee Zoo

This morning we went to the zoo! The penguin was showing off. It looked like he was waving to us as he swam by.

The polar bears were very lazy! I kept yelling, "Polar bear, wake up from your nap!" It didn't work though.
Can you guess what animal this is?
This pretty peacock wasn't afraid of us!

The lion cubs sure have grown since last year!

Daddy and I watched the elephants rip the bark off a big log and eat it.
The giraffe was sticking its tongue out at us.
Then it played hide and seek.
We finished our trip with a ride on the carousel.

Monkey Joe's

Daddy got done with work a little early today so we headed to Monkey Joe's. We've never been there before. I wasn't quite sure what to think at first, but once I figured out what bouncies were perfect for me, I had a blast! I climbed the ladders myself!

Daddy climbed up and helped me get up onto this huge slide. I went down all by myself!
Mommy could hear me laughing and shrieking all the way down the slide.
I loved the slides. Mommy just giggled at me because of all of my giggling and squealing.

Spring Break is For...

...acting like a lady while watching Dora in your jammies and working on potty skills!

Photography on Wheels

Ava absolutely loves the camera she got from KK for Christmas! It's a given that when we go outside Mommy doesn't go out without the camera. When I start taking pictures Ava stops what she's doing and runs to the house yelling, "But I forgot my camera!" One of these days I'm going to upload some of her photos!

The Future Zarletti-Passe Home??

Wednesday night Chris and I went to meet with Dustin from Harpe Development. We met him at this model home, which also happens to be the home we are planning to build. We found a lot we like that happens to be owned by Harpe. After talking with Andy, our realtor, we decided the next step would be to talk to Dustin and figure out how to proceed with building. At this point we are not sure if we will buy the lot in the very near future and build on it once our house sells or if we will try to wait and do the lot and begin building all at once. We made a few changes to the house and are waiting for the prints to be altered and sent to us. We are planning to build this home but add a third car garage. It will then make the playroom above the garage bigger too. We also went went through with Dustin and picked what type of finishings we'd have throughout the house and exterior. It's very exciting, but won't really become reality until we sell our house.

Easter Morning

On Easter morning we went to church and then had brunch with Daddy's extended family. Gramma put together an egg hunt for the kids. She said she made 100 eggs! Daddy had to help me pull out the first (and only) eggs I found. I wasn't sure about reaching so far into the bush to pull them out.
I think Uncle Dave felt bad for me and my three eggs. He told me to look on the porch in a little cubby for an egg.
My fourth and final egg was a special egg! It was the silver egg and had money inside.

After my silver egg I just pretty much followed everyone else around. Competition is tough when you're only 2!

Our Minnesota Trip

Saturday we were really busy in Minnesota! We went swimming and then went up to a look out to take some pictures over Wabasha.
The building on the bottom is Daddy's high school, Wabasha-Kellogg.

Since Mommy was taking pictures I figured I better get my camera out and take some of my own.

I got my first experience of Lark Toys. I got to ride on the hand carved wooden carousel.
Nadia and I didn't want to go on an animal that went up and down, so we stuck together in the carriage.

After Lark Toys, we went to Great Aunt Paula and Great Uncle Jeff's house for Isaac's birthday party. Isaac is Daddy's cousin and godson. Elijah, Daddy's cousin, was my buddy! I sat on his lap to show him a video of me singing on Mommy's phone. I also impressed him with my Angry Birds skills.
