Happy Easter!!

Last night we left the Easter Bunny some jellybeans and milk.
This morning he left me a basket filled with goodies for the water park get away.
He drank all his milk, ate all his jelly beans and left me a note! He said he hid my basket and 10 more eggs. He also left an egg trail from my bedroom to the table where he left the note.
Some eggs he hid way up high, so I needed Mommy's help...
...or just a boost from the couch.
After I found each egg I had to check out its contents.
There was a little egg in Mommy's shoe!
Some of the eggs had money for my piggy bank.
The Easter Bunny put eggs in the bathroom and...
...in the baby's room! I almost couldn't reach the one in the crib.

After I found all my eggs I looked for my basket.

Can you tell I loved this?
I even got my own Starbucks card to buy my own cake pops!
We went to Nonna and Papa's house to have brunch with them and Grammy and Grampy Uhlenhake, KK and Josh.
 Happy Easter!

Happy 100th Birthday!!

My great-aunt, Florence, celebrated her 100th birthday on Friday! Saturday we attended her birthday party. She's still extremely sharp for being 100 and still lives in her own home by herself!
State Representative, Peter Barca, attended the party and presented Auntie Florence with a plaque from the  state of Wisconsin. He's been my hero with all the things going on with education in the state!
This is my Gramma Zarletti enjoying the festivities.
Uncle Nello and Grampa are the only living Zarletti children now. Their brother, Carlo, was married to Auntie Florence.

Coloring Easter Eggs

We were suppose to dye eggs on Thursday night but Mommy was in the hospital so her and I did them on Friday morning instead. I dumped the color in all the cups.
I stirred it up really well so I could put the eggs in.

This year we dyed a little more than just the eggs. Notice my goofy face too!

P2Z2 Trying to Break Free

Thursday after work I called my doctor with a concern since my falls and was told they moved around the schedule and wanted to see me. I went to the office and because I said I was having some contractions Dr. H wanted to check to see if they were really contractions or just the baby balling up. I went from Dr. H's office to labor and delivery. They put me in a triage room and told me to gown up. I knew it probably wasn't going to be quick when they made me sport the styling gown. After quite a bit of waiting, Dr. H came into the room and said she'd be my nurse for a while since the unit was so busy (it was full moon and the babies were coming like crazy). She proceeded to open the package of paper for the fetal monitor and read the directions out loud. I joked with her that she had to read the directions. She said, "I'm only acting like your nurse, I don't do this stuff! I'm the doctor!" After I was hooked up to the monitors a nurse came in about 15 minutes later (with her student entourage) and said they were going to start an IV. Since I HATE needles I asked why they were doing that (not to mention it kind of freaked me out!) She said Dr. H was seeing contractions and I was border line dehydrated when I was in the office. They planned to give me a bag of fluids which would stop the few contractions I was having and send me home. WELL...about an hour later things just didn't seem to be getting better and I was definitely feeling they weren't getting better. All of a sudden one of the labor nurses (the same lady that delivered Ava and that will be doing the c-section with P2Z2) flew into the room and asked what I thought I was doing having contractions every 2 minutes and reminded me I was NOT on her schedule for that day. She also informed me since I was contracting so regularly she'd need to be mean and give me an injection which would make me look and feel like I had a triple shot at Starbucks (we see each other there often, so it was something she knew I could relate to.) Whatever she gave me was horrid and made me shake and chatter like crazy. It didn't do it's job so I needed another bag of fluids and another injection. We also told her she needed to be serious and let us know what we should do with Ava for the night. She said, "Make overnight arrangements because if this doesn't stop soon you're having a baby tonight!" After about 6 hours they got things under control and released us to go home. Apparently, the Zarletti-Passe babies like to send Chris and I to the hospital early and freak us out with an early reminder that they will arrive soon. Ava did the same thing to us (not nearly as bad as this baby) about 4 days later than this baby did. So, for now I am to take it easy during spring break and will return to work in a week with some restrictions. We are hoping to make it to 36 weeks and then anything can happen.

P2Z2 Update

I am now at 33 weeks and 3 days. Last week was quite eventful! While we were listening to the bagpipes on St. Patrick's Day someone tripped me on the way back from the bathroom with Ava. She was walking in front of me, so I fell face down right on top of her. Nobody asked if we were okay or helped us up! Tuesday when I went for my normal appointment, Dr. H lectured me because I didn't go to labor and delivery after I fell Sunday to be monitored. She said I should have been hooked up to monitors for 4 hours. Before she let me leave she had me hooked up to the fetal monitor and I had to push the buzzer each time the baby moved. After 20 minutes, Dr. H said my results looked "textbook" and she let me go. Thursday night while I was screening incoming kindergarten students my desk chair rolled away down the slope of my classroom floor. I sat down right on the floor rather than my chair. Friday I was having extreme back pain and couldn't walk very well. I called Dr. H's office and was told to get my buns to labor and delivery and be monitored. I had to call Chris home from work and he met me at the hospital. I had to be monitored just over an hour and then go to occupational medicine since it was a work comp issue. Since I was having some contractions while on the monitor I was told to take it very easy this weekend. I have a four day work week this week and then we have spring break. I think it's perfect timing! Tuesday I was also able to schedule my c-section day and time. Baby P2Z2 will make his/her entrance on Thursday, May 2nd at 7:30AM. Scheduling a date AND time for baby's arrival was very strange!

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

This morning we got ready and went to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny! I brought my basket for the egg hunt.

Before breakfast I colored and visited with Mommy's friend, Andrea, and her husband Brian. My friend, Sadie, was there to color with me too.
After breakfast there was a story time and then the Easter Bunny came! My first turn came and I decided I needed to go potty. The Easter Bunny was so nice and waited for me to come back even though all the other children had gone through the line. I even smiled with him this time!
After all the kids got to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap we had an egg hunt! I found 4 eggs.
My friend, Sadie, and I had fun this morning!!

Easter Projects

Yesterday Daddy helped at a middle school wrestling tourney so Mommy and I did some Easter projects. I made a bunny out of paper plates.

I wanted to eat some jelly beans. Mommy said I could but I had to make my brain smarter with them first. I sorted the jelly beans by color.

Then, I had to count how many jelly beans were in each pile. I had to find the correct number to put with the pile. Then I got to eat some!

Happy Birthday Nonna!

Nonna's birthday was on the 19th. We celebrated a week early because KK and Josh were going to be in Florida. Nonna got some new earrings.
She also the type of gift that Papa would usually get...Mommy's almost gone cleaning supplies and Josh's toy car. We were telling her we got her a gift certificate to have her car detailed.

What's Missing?

Hmmm...making cupcakes...what's wrong with this picture? Someone was too excited to start making cupcakes and didn't put her leggings back on!

More Celebrations

Saturday afternoon we celebrated my clean test results with a trip to Monkey Joe's with my friends, Addy and Jayda. I haven't been able to go to Monkey Joe's since the last time I went in November for my birthday! Addy and I had a blast going down the slides and bouncing around.
Jayda liked bouncing with us. I think she wanted to go on this big slide too!
