Ava's 6th Birthday Party, Take One!

Saturday we had Ava's birthday party for her friends from school. She was SO excited to have friends over!

She decided she wanted rainbow colors for her birthday theme this year.
We had Maddie the AMAZING face painter come to the party. She is absolutely incredible and so fast!!
 Ava's butterfly.
All the kids with their painted faces.
I don't think Ava liked the attention of all the kids singing and looking at her!
Little Queen Elsa sat so nice again to have Maddie paint her face. Maddie painted Gianna's face this summer and we were amazed at how still she was. She was equally as still this time!
 Finished product.
 Then she needed cake IMMEDIATELY!
 Time for presents!
We had a fun time with some of the kids from Ava's class!

Thankful Pumpkin

When you try a new art project at school, sometimes you just have to try it out at home first! Ava wrote one thing she was thankful for on each orange strip.
This was so sweet. She looked at me and said, "Well this one's easy!"

Trick-Or-Treat!!

The weather was cold and rainy for trick-or-treating this year. We skipped going door to door and went to visit KK and Josh, Grammy and Grampy Zarletti and Nonna and Papa. The kids got treats and Chris and I collected our trick-or-treat from my grandparents...a beer, M&Ms and licorice! After we got back we went to a Halloween party at the neighbor's house. It was a fun day despite the weather!

Pumpkin Painting

We were a little behind this year, but we got pumpkins decorated! The girls got cute pumpkin decorating kits in their basket when they got "spooked" by someone in the neighborhood, so we decided not to carve this year. I spread a plastic table cloth out on the living room floor and gave them their paint. They went to town and had a blast!

At the last second we changed Gianna's clothes. Good thing!

Clearly, a true painter must take their shirt off!

 Adding finishing touches.
