How to Make a Mess...

First, you wait until Daddy leaves for wrestling practice and Mommy is on the phone with her friend.
Then, one by one, you pull all of the books off the shelf and throw them on the floor!

You must take a break in between to stop and read a book or two though!

Little Artist

Miss Zivka is making me into quite a little artist! Mommy is super excited because Miss Zivka takes pictures of us during the day and changes a photo display on the wall once every couple weeks. She also had some framed pictures of me and my friends painting by the sign in area for Mommy and Daddy to see. Since Mommy and Daddy can't be with me all day they love the fact that Miss Zivka takes the time to take pictures so they can see what I do. Mommy is a little weird because the first time she saw the pictures and art projects she got a little teary eyed because she finally is able to see the things I do all day when she's with her students. The best part is when Miss Zivka changes the pictures I get to take my old ones home! We LOVE Miss Zivka!!

15 Month Wellness Exam

Today Mommy had a winter break day, so she took me to visit Dr. Rocco for my 15 month wellness exam. When Dr. Rocco looked in my ears she asked Mommy if I was getting over a cold. She said my ear looked like it was getting over an ear infection. She said she wasn't going to give me any medicine because I have been sleeping normally and haven't had a fever. Mommy and Daddy have to keep an eye on me and if my mood changes we will call Dr. Rocco to get some medicine. Other than that, I am one healthy little lady! I weigh exactly 24 pounds and am 32 inches long. Dr. Rocco didn't give us percentiles today, but said I'm following a textbook curve. Later we're going to have lunch with Nonna and we might make a stop at the library to play and read.

Puddle Boots

Yesterday Nonna and Mommy went on a mission to find me a pair of puddle boots. Mommy said my shoes got really yucky the other day when we were out I needed something that was easy to clean up when it got all muddy. I put my boots on right before bath time.

Then I raced to find Daddy in the bathroom so I could jump in the tub!
"Daddy, I have my soap! Put me in the tub!"

My Shades

I got these shades last year with my box of Little Swimmers. I didn't really know what they were for before though. Now I've got them all figured out and am ready for spring!

Bumping Up and Down in My Little Red Wagon

Wednesday afternoon was beautiful so Mommy took me for a ride in my wagon.

WOW! The wheels are big!
After we got back I roamed around the house. I walked to the front of the house and put my hands into what was left of the snowbank. I liked pushing parts of the snow onto the ground.

Happy Valentine's Day

Mommy and Daddy gave me a present on Valentine's Day. I opened the card first.

Then I reached into the bag to see what was inside!
A talking puppy with wagging ears! What else is in here?

I thought my puppy was silly. I have him a big hug!

I went right back to the card though; it was my favorite part!

Before we went for pictures Mommy wanted to take some of her own. Really, she was dying to play with her new lens and the sun was shining so nicely in the living room!

Mommy says this is her favorite! She loves my facial expression!

I didn't really want to have my shoes and socks on anymore. I managed to get the shoes off quickly, but the socks weren't as easy!

Merry Christmas to Me!

Mom and Dad gave me a gift certificate to Rode's Camera Shop to buy a lens for my camera. This lens came highly recommended by a friend who does amazing photography in her "spare" time. I can't wait to play!

Mommy and Me

Today while Daddy was wrestling Mommy and I went and had our pictures taken for Valentine's Day. Mommy has had fun taking my pictures, but she wanted some with both of us.

Lots of Snow!

After Daddy got us dug out, we bundled up and headed outside. I almost ran down the sidewalk to Daddy; I was so excited to be outside to play! The snow banks were over my head!

I can't get into my backyard!

Daddy set me on top of the snow and I giggled a lot.

Mommy and Daddy made me lay in the snow. I thought it was fun!

I wanted to go in the front and see the rest of the snow, so I took off down the driveway.

I went as far as I could and fell at the end of the driveway. Mommy was surprised that this was my only fall. My snowpants and boots didn't phase me!

Staying by my house was boring, so I decided to take myself on a walk down the block. Good thing these people shoveled me a path!

Shortly after we got inside the phone rang to tell Mommy she didn't have to go to school the next day. We get another snow day, but this time it will only be Mommy and me. We wish Daddy could be home again because family snow days are fun!
