Summer Flowers

This afternoon the weather finally cooperated and Mommy got her flowers planted. Now our yard and house looks like summer.

QUACK...QUACK

Mommy brought some bread with us to the lake. When we were done with pictures, we fed the ducks! There were actually more geese than ducks, but it was still fun because I've never done it before!

Splashing in the Fountain

While we were taking my pictures, we noticed that the fountain by the museum was on so we walked over to see it. Mommy said I looked really tiny next to the huge fountain!
First I sat on the side and dipped my fingers in the water.

Then I thought it was pretty cool, so I turned and put my toes in.

After a short time I was practicing my kicks in the fountain!

I got my clothes soaked and was NOT a happy camper when Mommy made me get down.

18 Month Photos

This morning while Papa and Daddy were fishing, Mommy and Nonna and I went to the lake to take my 18 month pictures. Mommy says a moving target is very hard to photograph!!

Mommy's friend, M.J., made me start making this silly face. She made it at me once and I thought it was funny. It's my "gramma face."

Baby Jayda

Mommy's good friend, Nikki, had a baby girl early Saturday morning. Her name is Jayda Rose and Mommy says she's a beautiful little peanut! I am so excited to have another friend to play with!

This is Mommy with her teacher friends. Nikki and Andrea teach second grade. M.J. teaches kindergarten with Mommy. Their rooms are connected so they cause some trouble at school together.

Unofficial Start to Summer

The weather did not feel like the unofficial start to summer but we had Mommy and Daddy's friends over for a cookout anyway. Last week Daddy got a going away party from his co-workers. One of them brought Daddy this contraption! Daddy said it's a lot of liquid for adults to drink. Mommy and Daddy decided there needed to be some help with the consumption of the liquid.
I played with the balls for ladder ball and they got all stuck together!
My friend, Sadie, came over. I was watching her swing and said, "Hi, Sadie!" over and over again.

Even though the weather wasn't the greatest, I had fun being a ham and playing with all the people that came over.

Steps to Washing the Cars...

First, you must have your swimming suit on. Then, you have to wash out the bucket that's been sitting in the garage all winter.
Next, add some soap to the bucket.
Then, fill the bucket with water and giggle while the water sprays you.

While the bucket is filling, feel free to adjust the pressure of the nozzle.

Then you MUST shriek with delight when your Daddy sprays you with the hose!!!

Then, inspect the bubbles to make sure they are OK to wash the car with.

Next, you let Mommy know the bubbles look great and can be used on the car.

Start washing the car! You have to use a HUGE brush to scrub the wheels.

Finally, after all the work is done, SPLASH IN THE PUDDLES!!!

Dora the Explorer

I've been a big girl on the potty at home. Nonna bought me some Dora big girl undies! I showed them to Auntie KK when she came over tonight.
Then I started being silly!

Happy Birthday, Grammy!

Yesterday was Grammy Uhlenhake's birthday. We went to her house for cake and ice cream.
The strawberries were my favorite part!
