Since we lost the first lot we wanted we started the search again. We found a different lot in Pleasant Prairie that we hope will be the building site of the future Passetti home. The lot is about a mile and a half away from the original lot. It's a bit further south which puts us into the boundary lines of a different elementary school but the same middle and high school. With this lot our home would have a look out basement. With the lookout basement comes added costs...more framing, more siding, more windows, a deck...
We are now waiting for the back view drawings and the new price to come back from our builder. If the price is still OK we will go forward with purchasing the lot. While we were walking the lot with our builder we met what would be our future neighbor. I don't think he was impressed with 5 people standing out in the street for such a long time so he came to ask what was going on. Once he found out we could be neighbors in the future he quickly changed his view on us.
