Lot 17....

Is officially the site of the future Pasetti residence! We are now the very proud owner of a half acre of weeds and a few cotton wood saplings! (Those will need to be chopped down very soon!) We closed on the lot this morning. Now we will begin the process of choosing colors for exterior things like stone, siding, doors, gutters, etc.

Apple Orchard

This morning we went to the apple orchard. After we bought apples and cider I climbed up to the tree house.
I made some coffee for Mommy and Nonna.
 I answered the phone.
Then I sat and watched as the forklift was moving a small building.

Tee It Up Fore Ty

Yesterday we went to the Tee it Up Fore Ty benefit. It was for a family member of one of Mommy's co-workers. The little boy is about my age. I got my face painted for the first time. When the girl asked what I wanted, I quickly told her a spider! She asked what color I'd like it to be and without hesitation I told her orange! I sat very still while she painted! I also bounced in the bounce houses.

The event was held at a banquet hall on a lake. Daddy and I walked down the pier to check out the water.

We looked for fish but all we saw was seaweed.

Introducing...

...Denali! Mom and Dad got a new puppy on Friday night! Denali is an 8 month old Australian Shepard that was born on Christmas. She is a full sister to Kaitlin's dog, Oliver. Denali is also from the same breeder as Phoebs. The breeder had contacted Kaitlin a few weeks ago asking if she knew of a good home for the puppy. Since Mom and Dad were in the middle of the kitchen demo they told the breeder they'd take the puppy if she was still available when the kitchen was closer to done. Ironically, Kaitlin picked Oliver up at the breeder exactly a year earlier, so Denali and Oliver have the same gotcha day. Ava picked out some toys to give Denali.
Denali is so sweet! Since she is a bit older, many things are new to her including a house and lots of loving from many people! She doesn't walk around the house much yet and doesn't like to be picked up but will just lay on you one you get her in your lap. Ava really enjoyed inspecting her legs, paws, ears and nose. She was trying to get Denali to play with her outside, but that will take a little time while she gets used to her new family. Denali has awesome eyes. One is brown and the other is blue and brown!

Ava was a good helper with getting Denali water and talks about wanting to feed her.

Color Run Milwaukee

Friday my friends, Nikki, Andrea and I headed to Miller Park in Milwaukee for the Color Run. We got there and got all our awesome gear including these 1990 style shades. Sadly, before the race we had to take Andrea to the nearest urgent care because she had a serious UTI starting. We were sad she couldn't partake in the run with us since she was the one who set our team up and was so excited for it. We were glad though that she found somewhere to go so she wouldn't be so miserable.
Nikki and I then headed back to Miller Park for the color run. It was so much fun! I did the couch potato to 5K training program and wanted to  DID curse some of the runs toward the end of the program. I was glad I did it though. I ran the whole thing in under a half hour. As we hit each kilometer mark we were doused with color. Nikki and I were both amazed at how quickly we reached the color station.
Here we are post race. We were both glad we invested in our stellar shades. The color stops were just crazy!
When we were done they did color throws every 15 minutes. This is the midst of a color throw. You could not see a thing around you when the color was thrown, but it was so cool. I am so glad I did the run; it was a blast!

Monday Funday

Since this is the last full week of summer vacation we decided to hit the beach with Nonna today. It was perfect for the beach! The water has cooled down a bit so we were more content to play in the sand and run along the shore today. I built some sand castles with Nonna.
I had to bring some water up so we could make the castles.
Nonna buried me in the sand! I giggled and shrieked the ENTIRE time.

Then I had to rinse my feet in the bucket.
 Done rinsing!!
Back to the lake to get more water.
We had a fabulous day at the beach. We are all sad our summer is coming to an end.

Kenosha County Fair

This morning we went to the Kenosha Co. Fair.
While we were walking through the cow barn I noticed this boy laying in the straw with his two calves. He was laying on them like they were his dogs. I thought it would be a great fair picture but didn't want to take his pictures because I didn't know him. My mom started talking to a woman she knew which turned out to be this little guy's mom. She said I was more than welcome to take pictures of him. As soon as I started with the pictures he was a ham!
He invited Ava to come pet his calf, Ruby. We also pet the one behind us, Moodonna! He was awesome with telling us about his calves and why they do certain things.
 The monkey was funny!
We watched this woman milk her goats in the goat barn.
This was the first year I decided to enter some photos into the fair. I went for the judging on Wednesday. I was only able to stay from 9-3 so only saw 11of 16 of my photos judged. As we walked through the barn today I was trying to find the photos I didn't see judged to see how they did and I saw THIS!!! I got the grand champion award for one of my photos! I was so excited I was shouting for my mom to come to look. I think I made a few heads turn with my excitement.
Ava was loving her ice cream cone. I love the placement of her sunglasses!

Heide's Rendezvous Benefit

Tonight we went to the Bowmen's Club for the Heide's Rendezvous Benefit. Heide was my cousin Brookie's Mommy. This year the benefit was for the son of someone Nonna and Papa know. I had the time of my life in the bounce house with Brookie and Braelyn. Here Brookie and I are having serious toddler conversation. While we were bouncing I even tried to show her my big girl undies. It didn't work so well though.

We put lots of tickets into basket raffles. The only thing our family won was 60 small bags of chips! Papa had one ticket left and just threw it in. KK and Mommy were looking to see if they won anything and claimed Papa's prize for him. We all laughed when the man handed us the prize. Papa will have chips for his lunch for awhile!

Lazy Afternoon at the Beach

This afternoon I went to the beach with my friends, Sadie and Finley. Sadie and I had fun playing with the sand toys and splashing in the water.
I made some sand donuts with Sadie.
Finley got in on the water action and dipped her tiny toes.

Finley had some fun baby sunglasses.

Thanks for inviting me to your beach, Sadie! My Mommy and I had fun!

Rainy Days

On rainy days we do art projects,

practice making shapes and writing my name with paint bags, and
 race marbles!
