Best Big Sister

Ava is a great big sister! She loves helping with Gianna and asked the other night to feed her. She did a great job!

Fun With Friends

Last week we had some pizza with the Callewaerts. The girls had a blast playing together!

Gianna wanted in on the action with big girls.

 Love all these little girlies!

Electrical Walk Through

Yesterday afternoon, Chris met with our electrician to go over our electrical. He had placed the boxes and needed to know of any moves, changes or additions. Chris wanted me to go through to be sure I was OK with what was decided.
 Our fireplace was installed today.
Pluming and duct work has been run.
Kitchen window where the sink will be.
The first two inspections have gone well.
I am in love with MY closet! Chris and I will both have ALL of our clothes located in our bedroom rather than scattered though the different closets in the house. We have never been able to keep our clothes in one bedroom before!
The next three photos are the master shower.

This is the girls' bathroom upstairs.
 Our laundry room.
The heaters were on in the basement to dry out any moisture so the basement can be poured early next week. They have also braced the staircase.
 The kitchen.
Looking into the living room from the kitchen.

This is looking upstairs from the front door.
Pipes and duct work never looked so good!

Frozen In Day 2

Day 2 of being frozen in! The girls didn't mind the extra jammie and play time! We played.
 We watched some movies.
We enjoyed a nice warm fire!
 Ava helped bake some cookies.

 We played some more!

Frozen in Day 1

What do you do on a "cold day?" Today we were home because I didn't have to go to school because of the extreme cold! The temperature was about -14 today and -36 with the windchill. (As I type this the temperature with windchill is -38!) I had to leave for a bit to go to the doctor and I thought my eyes were going to freeze shut! So to pass the time you...1. Listen to Frozen music!
 2. Bounce in the Jump-a-Roo and make silly, drooly faces.
 3. Snuggle with Nonna and make her feel better after getting teeth pulled.
 4. Make the cast of The Little Mermaid with play dough.
From left to right are: Ariel, Sebastian, Ursela and Eric. Flounder was added after the picture.
 5. Beat your mom in a game of Cootie.
 6. Do some reading challenges. This book has been a hit since she opened it on Christmas morning!n We'll see what tomorrow's cold day brings.

Some Updates

It has been so snowy and cold here, things are slowing down at the house. I did brave the cold on Saturday for a quick run through and saw the tub in the girls bathroom is in and there's insulation in the upstairs playroom. The plumbers and HVAC guys were hard at work even in the snow and cold.

Gramma Lips!

Gianna has been making her "gramma faces" and sucking her lips in. I was finally able to get pictures of it. I laugh when I look at them because she looks like she's in the fun mirrors!

8 Month Comparisson

I couldn't resist an 8 month comparison of the girls. The top photo is Ava.
 Here's Miss Gianna.
