Colorado Vacation- Devil's Backbone

Chris and I took our first childless vacation since the kids! That's the first vacation in 4.5 years! My college roommate, Laura, was getting married. We used that as an excuse to head to Colorado for a few days. We left Friday afternoon and headed straight to Fort Collins from the airport. We stayed the first night with Chris's cousin, Doug, and his family. Chris hasn't seen him in 20+ years. I had never met him or his wife and kids. The first night they took us to O'Dell's Brewery and Ft. Collins Brewery. The next morning we went for a hike on Devil's Backbone. It was a pretty cool hike!

This photo shows why it's called Devil's Backbone.

We hiked to the Key Hole and looked over Fort Collins. It was beautiful. You could see the snow covered mountains in the distance.

We took the scenic route back to Doug and Jen's house and saw this awesome man made ravine. There were tons of people out boating.
