Daddy's Birthday Dinner

Sunday night we went to Nonna and Papa's house to have dinner and cake and ice cream for Daddy's birthday. KK got Daddy a new leaf blower/vacuum to replace the one that was "borrowed" from him. Nonna and Papa gave Daddy some special "paper" so he can get some new work clothes.
I helped make sure Nonna lit Daddy's candles the right way.
I was mesmerized by the light of Daddy's candles.
"Daddy, are you ready to blow the candles out?"

The Strash Family

Saturday afternoon I took some pictures for Chris and her family. I went to high school with her. If you'd like to see more click on the Bella Vita link to the right.

23 More Days...Breakfast With Santa

Today's special activity was to go to have breakfast with Santa. I met my friend Addy, Jayda, Sadie and Finley there too.
I watched Santa greet all the children. Mommy and Daddy were thrilled that I shook Santa's hand right away when he came by our table. Mommy loved watching my facial expressions as Santa came into the room and approached us.
I was a big girl and sat on Santa's lap this year! Again, Mommy and Daddy were so excited that I did this on my own. Santa gave me a coloring book, stickers and a pencil. He also told me his favorite cookies are chocolate chip! I think we will have to leave him some so he can have a snack at my house when he comes.
Here I am with all of my friends: Jayda, Sadie, Addy and Finley.
Getting a picture together just made our Mommies laugh.
Notice Jayda, Addy and my coats? Our coats are all the same. Our Mommies didn't know until we got together.
I walked around and touched the real Christmas trees.

Here are the Mommies of all of my friends. Nikki, M.J., Andrea and Mommy all teach together. If our new baby is a boy he will be badly outnumbered!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!! We gave Daddy his birthday present a few hours early. I really missed him while he was at wrestling today (I even cried a couple time because I missed him) so we decided to stay up a little later and give Daddy his present when he got home from his wrestling tournament. I helped Daddy with his cards.
Daddy let me open his present for him.
Poor Daddy has a lot of missing "toys" since our little incident at the beginning of the month. He now has a shiny new skill saw for projects around the new house when we get it.

New Tradition

This year I started a new tradition with Ava. I wrapped 25 Christmas stories and put them in a basket. Each night before bed, Ava chooses one book to read. She eyed up the Dora wrapping paper last night.

The first story was There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed a Bell.

24 Days Until Christmas

Our countdown to Christmas special activities have begun!

Naughty Sparkles

Sparkles the Elf has been doing some naughty things at our house! She stole my toothbrush and toothpaste.
She took a pair of my undies and wore them!
She also made a mess all over the living room with our laundry.
Sparkles stole Mommy's dry erase marker and made a face on me!
This morning Sparkles made a mess with marshmallows. I think she needed a snack.
