A Visit with Santa's Helpers and Reindeer

This morning we went to Miller Park with Papa to see Santa's elves and his reindeer. We got our picture with Comet! I was almost asleep in the car when we got there, so the pictures don't really show that I really did think the whole ordeal was cool!

Fun at Miss Zivka's

Miss Zivka gave me some new pictures yesterday. This one is from this summer. My friends and I were baking.

 Before Halloween, Miss Zivka's daughter-in-law and her grandchildren came over and carved a pumpkin with us.

I made a "pumpkin pie" with Ana.

A First Glimpse of P2Z2

We had our first trimester ultrasound with the genetic counselor on November 1st. I was shocked at how much the baby looks like a baby and not so much a little blob on the screen. We clearly saw his/her head, face, belly, legs and arms. He/She also have us a few nice views of  his/her butt and back while the stubborn streak was going on. Chris and I both laughed at how much the baby moved around and we still can't feel anything. Everything looked good and measurements still indicate the same due date. Dr. H said at 32 weeks we will schedule the c-section date. 

Kindergarten Cowgirls

This year the kindergarten teachers dressed up as cowgirls. I even scored a pair of spurs for my getup!

Trick-or-Treat

Ava was a frappucino for Halloween this year. Mom helped to sew this beauty!

 The first stop was to KK's house. Oliver was a cow. Trying to get them together for a picture was a bit difficult.

Pumpkin Carving

Yesterday we carved pumpkins. 

 Ava wasn't totally thrilled about digging in right away. She did finally start scooping the guts into the bowl and then made a "pumpkin pie."

 Ava and I created the face except the nose...the nostrils were Daddy's idea. 

 While Chris worked on carving the face, Ava and I put together a cowboy pumpkin.

 Ava had to bring her camera outside to take pictures with me. She made Chris and I take a turn sitting between the pumpkins to have our pictures taken.

 This was my turn to sit by the pumpkins. Had to snap a shot of my photographer. 

Special Delivery for Ava

Saturday afternoon, Ava received her first invitation to a "friend" birthday party. It's for the cute little boy at daycare she plays with all the time. I just can't believe she's old enough for all of this already. She is very excited to go to Chuck E. Cheese for the party.
