Sweet Marley

Chris and I went up to visit Marley last night. Unfortunatley, her counts had not improved and some had gotten worse. She was beginning to develop fluid in her lungs. She came in and her legs that looked a lot better yesterday were swollen and looked worse than ever. Her prognosis was not good. We were told that even if she got better enough to take home she only had about 6-8 weeks. She looked very uncomfortable and her breathing sounded horrific. Chris and I had to put our three year old lab to rest because of her failing kidneys. It was not something we ever expected with such a young dog especially since she was so healthy three weeks ago before her neck pain started. RIP Marley, we love you and miss you! Now you get unlimited Buddy Biscuits, beef sticks and peanut butter Kongs!!
