My Cousin, Nadia

Aunt Kerry sent Mommy some pictures of our Minnesota get together from earlier in the month. I got to meet my cousin, Nadia, for the first time. She is 1 year and 11 days older than me. I think we could cause some trouble and have a lot of fun together! First, Uncle Scott held me so Nadia and I could get acquainted.
Then Nadia told me to pucker up!
She got me with some lovins!

Little Baby Belly Laughs

Chris and I love to hear Ava's little belly laughs. Tonight we were playing with her and Chris got her to laugh really loud and long!

Just for Fun

Mommy took some pictures of me today with my new headband. I was being a little ham for the camera!

5 Months Old!

Today was my 5 month birthday! I had a really busy day too! First, I went to the Y with Mommy and Daddy. When we were done there we went to Daily Dose to have breakfast. The triathlon group that always goes for breakfast on Saturdays after the training session was there. They talked to me a lot and told me I was really cute. Some of my favorite things right now are: laying around in my diaper, rolling around on the floor, taking my pacifier out of my mouth and putting it back in, giggling, screaming and making funny faces, playing in my Jumperoo, sticking my tongue out and chewing on my fingers.

It's So Bright I Need Shades

After Daddy got home from work yesterday we went for my first walk by Lake Michigan. It was a little windy, but I loved to ride in my stroller and kick my feet around. These shades were my cousin, Lauren's, when she was a baby.

Java Run

Mommy had kindergarten screening until late on Wednesday night. She was able to leave school a little early yesterday, so she picked me up from Ruth's house early. We walked to a coffee shop Mommy likes to go to called Daily Dose. Jen, the owner of the shop, has been asking Mommy about me. We thought I'd be able to meet her but she wasn't there. Mommy said we'll go back often now that the weather is nice and we can walk!

Cousins

I got to meet my cousin, Nadia. She is one year and 11 days older than me. Mommy thought it was fun to watch Nadia and know I'd be doing similar things at this time next year!
All of the girls! Nadia was giving me lots of kisses! I liked her curls and tried playing with them a couple times.
All of the cousins.

First Trip to Minnesota

I made my first car ride to Minnesota this weekend. Mommy and Daddy said I was a good traveler. I only fussed when I was tired of sitting in my carseat. Mommy distracted me with my baby though. I have been quite the globe trotter in the last week! I visited Arizona, Texas, Illinois and Minnesota! I got to meet Grammy Schouweiler (Daddy's Gramma.)
I got to snuggle with Uncle Josh. I left him a little present on his shirt too!
I met Great Aunt Jolene.
We got a 4 generation picture with Gramma Passe, Daddy and Grammy and Grampy Schouweiler.
I also got to meet more of my cousins! I met Nadia and Brydon. This was the best shot we could get with so many little ones moving around.

Jumperoo

I played in my Jumperoo today for the first time and loved all the new toys and sounds. My great aunts (Nonna's sisters) bought it for me and we've been itching to use it. I'm finally just tall enough to reach the floor.

Lunch with Daddy

Mommy, my baby and I took lunch to Daddy today at his work. I think Daddy was excited to see me!
I really like to chew on things the last few days. Mommy and Daddy think I might be starting to get some teeth.

First Feeding of Rice Cereal

Ava had her first feeding of rice cereal tonight! It took me awhile to be able to find a rice cereal in the store that was OK for her to eat with her allergy, but I finally found one and she really seemed to like eating something new. She didn't spit it out or "play" with it like I thought she would. After he little squeal in the video she gobbled the rest of the bowl right up!

Coloring Eggs

Today I discovered eggs can be other colors than white! We were a little behind with our egg dying but we were busy packing and traveling!
This is so fun!
An egg for Daddy...
An egg for Mommy...(not sure why it rotated itself!)
And an egg for me!
Easter 2010 (Again, not sure why the picture rotated itself!)

4 Month Check-Up

OK, so really Ava is closer to 5 months, but because she had the ear infection and wheezing when she was suppose to go for her wellness check on March 23rd, we had to reschedule for today. Ava is still a TALL girl! She was 25.5 inches long which put her in the 90th percentile. She weighed 14 pounds 1 ounce which puts her in the 50-75th percentile. She took her shots like a champ and only cried a little bit. Terry was very pleased with the way she is developing and thinks Ava looks great. Tonight we get to try feeding her rice cereal! I'm hoping to post some video of that before the weekend!

New Hat

Today I went with Mommy to the teacher store in Illinois. She bought me this cute new hat. Who knew the teacher store would have such cute hats?

The Bunny Came!!

When we got home on Tuesday I found this by the front door! The Bunny left me some treats while we were in Arizona. I got some new books, a cow bubble blower and lots of bubbles to go inside of him!
Thanks for remembering to stop at my house, Easter Bunny!

South Mountain

We took a winding drive up to South Mountain on Monday morning.

Cousins

My cousins, Lauren and Parker, were also at Gramma and Grampa's. This is Lauren and I on Easter morning.
Hanging out in our jammies.
We were having a serious conversation!
Parker was being silly and doing a performace with the umbrella the Easter Bunny brought him.

Organ Pizza

We went to a really fun restaurant for dinner on Sunday night. The area where you eat had a HUGE organ in it. I had to take a video of it because pictures wouldn't explain how cool the place really was.

Sky Diving

NO...I did not go sky diving neither did my Daddy or Mommy, but we did watch a bunch of other people sky dive! We went to a sky diving camp and watch airplanes take off every 5-15 minutes and drop out 12-23 people at a time. We sat in front of the landing area and watched the people slide to a stop on their feet.
The tiny white specks you see are the skydivers!
This guy was coming in for a landing.

I was very tired when we were done! As soon as I hit the carseat I was sleeping. My pacifier fell out of my mouth but my mouth didn't change shape.

Enjoying the Weather

We enjoyed the Arizona weather. It was in the mid to upper 80's. I got to show off my white arms and legs in my summer clothes!

Hanging out with Gramma on the patio in the backyard.
