I never thought I'd be the Mommy to blog about this,but Chris and I were so excited I couldn't help myself! The last couple weeks Ava has been saying, "poop" after she goes to the bathroom. Today we were in the kitchen getting lunch ready and she made her announcement. Thinking she needed to be changed, we headed to her bedroom. Her diaper was clean so we thought, what the heck let's sit her on the toilet. A few minutes later, she'd done her business in the toilet! We got very excited so she started squealing too! What a great 17 month b-day present for her Mommy and Daddy! We'll have to let Miss Zivka know that when she makes her announcement she may really be onto something!
