Kenosha's Parade

This year we were able to sit in the grandstand again to watch the parade because Walgreens sponsored the parade. Ava loved riding to our seats in her wagon and watching what was going on.

There are even emergencies during the parade! This firetruck had to get though the spectators to get to the call!

My cousin, Joe, is holding the American flag. I managed to make him crack a smile again this year. He didn't laugh like last year though. Maybe he was expecting something this year!
Ava sat on my dad's lap most of the time and clapped, cheered and squealed. She proudly told dad when something else was coming.
Ava was excited to see "Old McDonald" in the parade.
This group of guys did some crazy cool tumbling right in front of us. They all launched off the trampoline and did crazy jumps, flips and turns. They parked a golf cart behind the trampoline and some of the guys were clearing that. It was a little nerve wracking to watch though.

These girls did some stunts while riding the horses.
This is a parent of one of my students from last year. You can barely see, but Josh is in the passenger seat. He was one of my kindergarteners 5 years ago!
