Yesterday I started my first independent swimming lessons! That's right...NO MORE MOMMY! I get to swim with Miss Beth now. Mommy met Miss Beth when she was 16 and started her lifeguard training courses at the KYF. Miss Beth taught Mommy to be a lifeguard and a WSI swimming teacher. Mommy and Miss Beth taught swimming lessons together for over 6 years. Mommy found Beth again and asked if she'd be willing to do my swimming lessons. I grabbed Miss Beth's hand and walked right into the pool with her while Mommy and Daddy watched me outside the window. I did a great job swimming and can't wait to go back next week! Mommy says this is the beginning of my training. I've got 12-14 years to develop my skills so I can swim just like Michael Phelps!
