This year Santa sent a "fill in" elf for Ava. (This was my solution to not knowing where Sparkles is in our things at this point.) The elf arrived with a note telling Ava that Santa wanted Sparkles to take a year off so she could save her silliest tricks for our new house. Ava named the "fill in" elf Dora. Thankfully my plan worked splendidly!
